What It Is
The Functional Integration Map visualizes how different functional areas connect and where integration points exist. It translates the organizational dependencies discovered in the stakeholder work into a structural diagram that shows exactly where functions intersect, share data, or need coordinated decision-making.
Why It Matters
Functions that look independent on an org chart are often deeply intertwined in practice. The Integration Map makes these connections visible so the program architecture can account for them rather than be surprised by them.
